LIVE: NWSL Draft tracker, picks results — Alyssa Thompson goes No. 1 Angel City FC; Michelle Cooper No. 2

The National Women’s Soccer League will introduce a new talent to the world on Thursday night. The 2023 NWSL Draft begins at 6pm ET in Philadelphia and you can catch all the action on Paramount+ and CBS Sports HQ. CBS Sports Network will air the first hour of the draft at 6pm ET.

California high schooler Alyssa Thompson went first overall to Angel City FC thanks to a series of wild trades made in the days leading up to the draft.

Is 256 players available for just 48 picks, meaning teams will still be looking for undrafted free agents for the next few days after the draft ends.
