Pele’s daughter shares an old photo of herself with the legendary father and his siblings at a health center event with the text “time flies, happy moments are forever” – as the 82-year-old’s condition worsens in the hospital
The daughter of Brazilian soccer great Pele has posted a heartwarming photo on social media as her father continues to fight for life.
Pele’s family has gathered at the hospital as his condition worsens – he shares a moment with Kely Nascimento in happier times, when the 82-year-old receives treatment for the progress of colon cancer.
On Instagram, Nascimento shared a photo of the soccer icon with himself and his two other daughters – Flavia and Jennifer – at the health center’s Gala Pequeno Principe event.
“Time flies, happy moments are forever,” she added to the adorable photo.

Nascimento also shared a photo on Christmas Day of the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with an emotional caption.
She took to her Instagram profile again later that day to thank the hospital’s nursing staff.
“We always have much to be thankful for, even though we spend Christmas in a hospital, we are aware of the privilege of being at a hospital like @hosp_einstein,” she wrote.

She posted a photo of his family on Instagram on Christmas Eve, along with a post thanking the hospital staff for caring for the 82-year-old soccer player.
“To see our father treat these professionals, super competent and extremely tender.”
Big men like Rivaldo and football fans around the world have paid tribute and prayed for the health of one of football’s most famous sons.
The Brazilian legend had a tumor removed from his colon in September 2021, but was hospitalized on November 29.

Considered one of the greatest footballers of all time, Pele won three World Cups with Brazil
A hospital statement released last week said Pele needed further treatment for “kidney and heart dysfunction”.
The three-time World Cup winner’s daughter confirmed that family members would spend Christmas with her in hospital, according to her grandchildren.
Widely regarded as Brazil’s greatest ever player, Pele was able to watch his country’s campaign at the World Cup in Qatar despite hospitalisation.
He burst onto the global stage at the age of 17 at the 1958 World Cup, helping Brazil to the first of their record five successes before winning. 1962 and 1970 World Championships on the national side.
One of Pele’s former rivals, Romario, has wished the Brazilian soccer legend well in a recent video posted on social media.
Talking Ge Globo, Romario said, ‘King, get well. So much faith. The whole world is searching and praying for you. Improvements! I kiss your heart.’
