
A very festive royal day! The Prince and Princess of Wales are seen taking Prince George and Charlotte to UK Lapland with their nanny Mary
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been enjoying a family trip to UK Lapland with their two eldest Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Prince William and Kate, both 40, were spotted leaving the Christmas theme park at Ascot by a keen-eyed fan, who shared a photo of the royal group on Instagram.
The royal couple were pictured with George, nine, and Charlotte, seven, as well as their Nordic nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo. It is unclear whether four-year-old Prince Louis also joined them on the outing.
Looking low-key, Kate opted for a coffee-coloured coat with brown Chelsea boots and a navy hat, while William wore blue jeans, a padded jacket and a matching green flat cap.

Dressed in a blue jacket and red trousers, Charlotte, George and William all carried trinkets as they left the festival in December.
Meanwhile, George donned a blue padded coat, jeans and a patterned beanie hat for the theme park with his parents at the Christmas theme park, which boasts a toy factory, magical forest and reindeer.
The news of their outing comes after the family spent Christmas at Sandringham with King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla and the rest of the royal family.
Kate beamed as she held the hand of her youngest son, four-year-old Prince Louis, as she walked alongside William, George and Charlotte on their way to St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk Estate on Christmas Day.

The mother-of-three looked her usual stylish self in a festive, recycled coat, believed to be by British designer Alexander McQueen.
She paired the statement garment with a feathered Philip Treacy hat and statement earrings from French label Sézane as the group walked to the service.
The thrifty royal donned the coat of arms to attend an engagement at Bradford Town Hall in January 2020, shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be stepping down as senior royals.
For the Christmas outing, the princess paired her structured coat with custom knee-high black heeled boots by Gianvito Rossi.

She looked stunning in her festive outfit as she waved to well-wishers who traveled to Norfolk.
It was the royal family’s first Christmas at Sandringham in two years after the late Queen stayed in Windsor for the 2020 and 2021 holidays due to the coronavirus outbreak – and the first time the family spent the holiday without the late monarch.
