We are in the final stages of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with the quarter-finals ahead. As for the stories, Lionel Messi has already announced it this is his last World Cup For Argentina, who are one of the favorites to win the tournament despite losing their opener to Saudi Arabia. After claiming his first international trophy by winning the 2021 Copa America with Argentina, there would be no better way to send Messi off than the World Cup. Ronaldo has not announced that this will be his last World Cup, but the Portuguese striker would be 41 when the next World Cup begins. It’s safe to say that Father Time is unbeatable.

France — without Karim Benzema, Christopher Nkunku, N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba — will be looking to rise above their injuries and off-field drama to defend their title from 2018, but with talented teams from England and Brazil, the French face stiff competition for the trophy. The U.S. will also be eager to advance from the group stage to the World Cup after disappointing matches leading up to the World Cup.
